Graphite Electrode Conductive Arm

The arms are made of bimetal sheets (copper and steel) through an explosion process, the copper layer is for current conducting while the steel layer is for supporting mechanical force.The cooling circuit is a vertical separation in the arm that can assure the heats at most to be cooled by the coldest water. 

Hydraulic release and disc spring loaded.

Graphite electrode holder is made of copper,Chromium-copper or copper+steel bimetal sheets.

Water cooled circle for the holder is made of stainless steel.
